Teenage Kicks is an exciting new project funded through NRF and managed by both Newcastle City Council and Newcastle Primary Care Trust. Teenage Kicks works in a youth work led way, and delivers sessions on sex and relationships to young people. The project itself is modelled on a project called ‘So to Speak’ based in Liverpool, which has similar high rates of teenage pregnancy to those in Newcastle.

Where do you work?
We work in loads of places across the city such as schools, youth clubs and training providers to name a few.
